  1. Trying to prepare for my first AT hike and I am as green as you can be! Glad to see a well grounded approachable video for beginners trying to get into this amazing community. I think by far people have been super friendly but there are some that I feel take ultralight backpacking so far that it takes away the fun from being in nature, which is what its all about for me personally!
