Join me on an amazing journey of solitude and self discovery. I spend 10 days alone in the wilderness of Northern Ontario Canada I shoot this full documentary in solitude, allowing for nature, and my real self to come to light. I have very big ups and downs on this remote trip. I make camp on an island to avoid bears and other larger animals. I feed myself on fresh fish that I catch along the way. I have eagle and crow friends, and see absolutely no one else for my 10 day wilderness solitude full documentary trip. Aborted wild camp | Accident while camping | first stage hypothermia

I went out for a camp in awful weather conditions without thinking things through properly and got myself in trouble, I had the early signs of Hypothermia which led to me making bad choices and having some accidents, this night could have been a lot worse but fortunately I decided to call it a day before things could get any worse. I decided to upload this video in an effort to be honest and show how quickly things can go bad in the cold weather. Packing up and going home is always an option.

Building a Viking House with Hand Tools: Stone Clay Pit | Bushcraft Project (PART...

We continue to build a bushcraft viking house in the woods with hand tools. Part 3 focuses on building a viking long pit, or stone fire pit, for the inside of the viking house. We dig the foundations of the pit using a shovel and our hands. We dig through the soil layer and then dig down to the clay layer. We store the clay for later use. We then head into the forest to find some large stones to line the fire pit. We used the clay to help set the stones in place and we do more pointing on the stone slabs around the edge of the pit. The viking house build is coming along nicely. It now has a foundation of cedar logs, secured together using log cabin notches or saddle notches. We have a timber frame built using wood dowels to hold it in place. We burnt the ends of the frame to prevent the rot from the ground. We stop for lunch and Dustin cooks fresh caught squid in egg and bread crumbs over a bed of fresh salad with sweet chilli sauce dip. We also grill whole fish over the fire viking style. Next we will focuses on building more viking beds in the camp. Thanks for watching and subscribe so you don't miss the next episode!
