Winter RV camping can be a lot of fun… as long as you have running water and you don’t freeze in your RV. This video is the Ultimate RV Winter Camping Guide to help you prepare your rig for the cold weather. As we mentioned in the video, we quickly learned that moving every 3-4 days in cold weather was fatiguing. The setup & teardown process is long and often too cold to use our water hose. So we changed our plans and booked 12 days at Tiger Run Resort // in Breckenridge, CO. This is an exceptional RV Resort where you can rent or buy your own site minutes from downtown Breckenridge and close to Vail Resorts and all your favorite winter activities.

  1. I have a tip for camping in the snow….DON'T!!! LOL. We live in Central NY on the southeastern shore of Lake Ontario. Our intention is to get away from the snow and cold. We've had over 100 inches of snow already this year and for a couple weeks temps never got above 20 degrees. Hahaha….but y'all have at. You look like you're enjoying it. Loving your videos. Thank you so much for what you do.

  2. We just left Colorado Saturday. Spent the last 3 months dealing with winter there and really it was only bad for a few weeks. Did have the camco hose freeze twice. It's good until you start getting below zero. Great video and spot on for winter camping.

  3. I just got back from Backpaking the Colorado trail for the weekend In Breck yesterday. Although my set up was just a 4 season tent, 0 degree bag and layers. Winter camping is the best season to go! You guys picked in my opinion the best mountain town in Colorado. Im chowing down on left overs from Downstairs at Erick's while watching this video. A great restaurant on Main Street Breck, great pizza!!

  4. We have been to Tiger Run. Very nice! We are coming to Vail from Orlando this coming weekend. We are hoping you'll still be there. We are camped this winter in Ft Pierce, Florida, but have a couple of timeshares in Vail. Would love to meet you and even ski with you. Love your wonderful videos and spectacular videography. We have a Forester Class C and love following your adventures. One thing we have in our Forester is an Artic Package, which includes wrapped tanks which keep all your tanks heated and a furnace that blows hot air into the water area.

  5. Hi Marc, We live in the low country of South Carolina and live full time in a 30ft travel trailer . When we have cold weather I just leave the water running in the shower. All you need s a small drip, just enough to keep the line from freezing. I look forward to your videos each weekend. Keep up the good work.Wta
